Challenges Overview

The duration for a trading challenge where a trader must hit the profit targets while adhering to rules such as drawdown limits and minimum trading days.

Example: If a challenge has 90 days, this is your window to meet profit objectives.

Traders must trade for a set number of days during the Challenge phase to prove their strategies.

Example: You must trade for 3 days at least to pass the evaluation.

Use our Reset feature if you’ve had a tough start or broken account rules but have days left in your Challenge. Use the Reset feature to start afresh while retaining your remaining days.

Example:
Started a 30-day Challenge on June 5th? Broke a rule on June 12th? Reset and continue, but you’ve until July 5th to hit the Profit Target.

Are you running short on time but near your goal? Use the Extend option to add days without losing current progress.

Example:
At $103,000 of a $105,000 target? Extend your deadline.

It’s the daily loss limit to protect traders from excessive losses. Exceed it, and your account is breached.

Example:
With a $100,000 account and a $1,000 Drawdown, your account breaches if equity falls below $99,000. Is it ending at $99,100? The next day’s limit becomes $98,100.

It’s a fixed loss limit, unaffected by profits.

Example:
On a $100,000 account with a $5,000 drawdown, the limit stays at $95,000, regardless of gains. If equity falls below $95,000, the account breaches.

This refers to the maximum allowable loss as your account peaks in value. Each time your equity hits a new high, the drawdown limit rises with it.

Definitions:
Current Equity: Balance, including open trades.
Current Balance: Balance from closed trades.
High Watermark: Peak account value.

Example:
In a $100,000 Challenge with a $5,000 limit, if equity peaks at $102,000 but closes at $101,000, the new drawdown limit is $97,000. For a balance-based challenge, it’s $96,000. Details are on your Dashboard.

This refers to the financial objective a trader is expected to achieve. A measurable performance indicator for the trader.

Example:
If your profit target is $5,000, you aim to make this amount in profits.

It’s the trader’s share of achieved profits.

Example:
At an 80% profit share on a $1,000 target, you keep $800, and the firm takes $200.

Traders can trade indefinitely until profit targets are met—less stress from time constraints.

Earn from Day 1. Without a minimum trading day requirement, hit your profit target and get paid faster on good days.

Once you hit the level target, request a payout immediately. Earnings are processed every Friday, but your next-level account is set up so trading isn’t interrupted.

This represents a trader’s combined earnings across all Scaling Plan levels, reflecting the total financial gain upon completion.
