Meet Denis Ramjak from Germany, who recently passed The Trading Pit Futures Executive Challenge despite being new to trading.

1. Tell us a little bit about you.

I am Denis Ramjak, 31 years old and from Germany. I discovered my passion for trading recently. I began exploring different avenues to pursue my interests and achieve financial freedom. It was during this time that I stumbled upon trading. I started reading articles on trading, attending seminars and webinars, and actively participating in trading communities. Over time, I began understanding traders' different strategies and techniques to make informed decisions.

2. How long have you been trading?

I have been trading for one year. During that time, I completely immersed myself in trading, devoting countless hours to studying the markets, learning about different trading strategies, and gaining practical experience through trading with real money.

3. What inspires you to pursue trading?

I started trading due to the potential financial rewards it offered. However, as I became more immersed in the trading world, I also came to appreciate the freedom and flexibility it provided. These two factors inspired me to pursue trading as a career.

4. Do you have a trading plan in place and follow it strictly? Briefly describe your Trading Plan

My trading plan focuses on small gains over a long period, which involves making a series of small trades that, over time, add up to significant gains.

5. What was your strategy to successfully pass The Trading Pit Challenge?

I focused on movement from volume to volume. This approach involves looking for trading opportunities based on changes in market volume, where I identify price movements that are potentially in my favour by analysing market data and studying market trends while avoiding trades where the market is more uncertain.

6. How would you rate your experience with The Trading Pit?

My experience with The Trading Pit is excellent. As a new trader, I recognise the value of having access to a reliable and supportive trading environment, and I have found that The Trading Pit has exceeded my expectations.

7. Why you chose The Trading Pit and not another prop firm?

I chose The Trading Pit, despite completing the Volume trader training. I saw that The Trading Pit offered significant personal and professional development opportunities. With access to reliable coaching and support, educational resources, and market analysis tools, I knew I could continue growing and developing my trading skills.

8. What would you like to say to other traders attempting The Trading Pit Challenge?

As a trader who successfully passed The Trading Pit Challenge, I would tell other traders to go for it. Taking on The Trading Pit Challenge can be a valuable experience for traders.

9. Describe your best trade.

My best trade was when I spotted a large movement from the volume point in the long direction, resulting in a gain of 92 ticks. This trade was a result of careful analysis of the market and identifying profitable opportunities.

10. What is the number one advice you would give to a new trader?

My advice for new traders is to be patient and take their time. By taking the time to develop a solid trading plan, managing risk effectively, and staying focused, new traders can increase their chances of success and achieve their trading goals over the long term.

11. How does your risk management plan look like?

I limit myself to 3 trades daily and target a risk-reward ratio (CRV) of 2:1 at best. This approach allows me to manage my risk exposure while seeking profitable opportunities.

12. What would you recommend to someone just starting with us?

I recommend starting with market knowledge, which is critical to success. With a good understanding of the markets, making informed investment decisions is nearly possible.

13. Share online resources that were/are significant in your trading development. Names and links are appreciated.

Volume Trader Akademie and Volume Trader Terminal were significant educational resources that helped me develop my trading.

14. What made you trust The Trading Pit for your trading career?

Recommendations from my trusted mentor influenced my decision to choose The Trading Pit. Having a mentor can be incredibly helpful in navigating the trading world, as they offer guidance and advice based on their own experience and expertise. They can also help you identify resources and tools that are likely to be a good fit for your trading style and goals, and in this instance, it was The Trading Pit.
