Over 130K in rewards, earned together: Abdallah Harfouch and His Community

Traders in Abdallah Harfouch's community have earned over 130K in rewards with The Trading Pit. Behind that number are more than 100 traders who have received at least one payout, and a community that has been with TTP since the very beginning, four years ago.

Abdallah is the founder of EAU Group and Alpha Universe Project. He recently visited our office in Cyprus to sit down with us for a podcast. What came through in that conversation was not a story about one trader. It was a story about what happens when traders stop going it alone.

"How will people know the right way of trading if the right traders just trade for themselves?"

Where it started

Abdallah started trading at 17, while still in school in Lebanon. The internet was slow, there was no mentor to learn from, and every lesson came through trial and error. He lost a lot of money early on, and the people around him told him trading was a casino.

He kept going for two reasons. The first was time freedom: time with his family, and the ability to travel without worrying about prices. The second was proving the doubters wrong. Over time, he realised his problem was not the market. It was a lack of patience and a lack of structure.

He later moved to Dubai to build his business on a global scale and work with traders around the world. Today he no longer points to his own results as proof. He points to his community's.

A community that builds traders, not followers

Abdallah is clear about what his community is not. It is not a signals group where people copy trades and hope. The goal is to teach people how to become traders, which he calls the hardest part.

"The easiest part is to give signals. The hardest part is to teach a person to become a trader and an investor."

That means treating trading as a career, the same way a doctor or an engineer builds one. The community runs on its own app, with channels for learning and for sharing wins. Around the strategy sits a full support system:

  • Coaching beyond charts: Certified mindset coaches, plus communication and financial education coaches.

  • Money management: separating trading capital from family money, investments and an emergency fund.

  • A trader support team: people to talk to when things go wrong, so no one quietly disappears.

  • Small groups: new members now join in smaller batches so every person gets proper follow-up.

  • A 90-day challenge program: being launched to give members daily support and accountability.

The small-group approach came from experience. In 2021 and 2022, the community grew fast and had fewer mentors, and Abdallah says many people were left behind. Fewer members, better supported, has produced more breakthroughs.

Rules stricter than the firm's

Abdallah's personal rules are tighter than TTP's. His traders cannot lose more than 1% in a day, and even that is split across two trades of 0.5% each. After a 4% to 5% run of consecutive losses, they stop and review the strategy.

He sees a prop firm's rules as an ally, not an obstacle. When he tells people not to overtrade, some still do. A breached account teaches the lesson faster.

"It's like a speeding ticket. The next time, you slow down."

His view is that a breach is not the end, as long as the trader comes back ready to follow the plan. Many members who breached once or twice went on to pass and cash out.

The roadmap every new member follows

New members do not start with a large account. They follow a step-by-step path that Abdallah describes as a 6 to 12 month school:

  1. Build the foundation (about 1 month). Learn the strategy and attend the mindset, money management and skills sessions.

  2. Practise on demo (about 2 weeks). Get comfortable with the platform and see trades play out.

  3. Trade a small funded account (1 to 2 months). Start with 10K if the goal is 100K, or 20K if the goal is 200K. Same trades, same percentages, smaller numbers.

  4. Scale once consistent. After a month or two of steady results and rule-following, move up to the larger account.

The logic is simple. The percentages stay the same, so the habits transfer. Only the size of the account changes.

"Increase your capital, don't increase your risk."

On a 200K account, he points out, a 2% month is already 4,000. There is no need to chase 500% on a small account.

Faye's story: one call before quitting

The clearest example of what the community does is Faye. She had been losing in the markets for three years. Her family blamed her for staying in trading. Before giving up for good, she sent a message on Instagram asking to speak with Abdallah.

On a Zoom call, she asked whether he was real, and whether mentorship would actually change anything. His answer: follow the plan 100%, not 99%, and give yourself this one chance.

She did. Faye cashed out more than 70K in 2025 and is already close to half of that this year. She is a mother of two who runs a restaurant, and she now trades about an hour a day. Her father now trades with the community too.

Abdallah is careful about who gets the credit.

"I didn't make her succeed. She succeeded because she was consistent and hungry to follow the rules."

The mindset behind the results

Abdallah puts psychology at about 80% of trading success, so mindset work comes before any execution. Three ideas run through how he teaches it.

Fear comes from not knowing. He compares it to walking into a dark room. Turn on the light, and there is nothing left to fear. Traders who understand the market, the rules and their own plan know what to expect.

The market has seasons. Some months feel like summer, with momentum and plenty of setups. Others feel like winter, when good trades are rare. A month can return 20% or 1%, which is why he never judges a trader on a single month.

Set the right expectations from day one. Members are told upfront that there will be ups and downs. When the downs come, they are asked to reach out instead of disappearing.

"Quick money will be lost quickly. If you really want to build something, the foundation is skills and knowledge."

Why TTP

Abdallah's community has partnered with The Trading Pit for four years, since TTP started. He gives three reasons for staying.

  • Payouts that arrive. When people tell him prop firms do not pay, he points to his own experience: in four years, every trader who earned a payout received it.

  • Access to capital. Funded accounts let traders without large savings trade meaningful size at low risk. As he puts it, saving 200K from a salary could take a decade. Earning access to a 200K account can take a few months.

  • Rules that build discipline. TTP's rules give new traders a clear structure, and the community's own rules sit on top of them.

He also values the working relationship. When adjustments are needed, his team talks directly with ours.

Success is shared, but it is still yours

Over 130K in rewards did not come from one great trade or one great trader. It came from a community that teaches the same plan, holds people to the same rules, and keeps them going when they want to stop.

Abdallah's last word on it belongs to the traders themselves. The community provides the plan, the coaching and the support. Following it is each trader's decision.

"If you succeed, it's you who succeeded. Which one are you going to be?"
