July was another active month for The Trading Pit community.
Traders received $360,000+ in paid-out rewards across 480 reward payouts, with activity spanning 59 countries.
But the numbers are only half the story.
Behind every reward is a trader working through the same fundamentals: staying disciplined, managing risk, picking the right setups, and building consistency one decision at a time.
Here's what stood out this month.
July by the Numbers
Metric | July 2026 |
Total rewards paid | $360,000+ |
Reward payouts | 480 |
Countries represented | 59 |
Biggest reward | $10,407.64 |
July's biggest reward went to a trader from Germany, with traders from Luxembourg and Italy rounding out the top three.
Top Rewarded Traders | Country | Reward |
#1 | Germany | $10,407.64 |
#2 | Luxembourg | $10,368.57 |
#3 | Italy | $9,217.44 |
Numbers like these show the scale of activity across the community. But they also point to something deeper: consistency comes from structure.
Traders who manage risk, follow their rules, and stay focused on execution give themselves a stronger foundation for long-term progress.
What Traders Focused on in July
July's activity showed clear, distinct patterns depending on the challenge type traders chose.
CFD challenges stayed almost entirely gold-driven. XAUUSD was the top traded asset across every leading market - from Malaysia and China to Germany, Brazil, Lebanon, Spain, and Vietnam.
Country | Top Traded Asset (CFD) |
Malaysia | XAUUSD |
China | XAUUSD |
Germany | XAUUSD |
Lebanon | XAUUSD |
Brazil | XAUUSD |
Spain | XAUUSD |
Viet Nam | XAUUSD |
Futures challenges split between ES and MNQ depending on region, with Germany, Austria, and Switzerland leaning toward ES while the US, China, and Italy leaned toward MNQ.
Country | Top Traded Asset (Futures) |
Germany | ES |
United States | MNQ |
Austria | ES |
Switzerland | ES |
China | MNQ |
Italy | MNQ |
Stocks challenges were led by TSLA and NVDA, with the split roughly geographic: Spain, the US, and Portugal favored TSLA, while Germany, Egypt, Kazakhstan, and Brazil favored NVDA.
Country | Top Traded Asset (Stocks) |
Spain | TSLA |
Germany | NVDA |
United States | TSLA |
Portugal | TSLA |
Egypt | NVDA |
Kazakhstan | NVDA |
Brazil | NVDA |
Gold’s pull in CFDs tracks with May and June. But the Futures and Stocks split is a reminder that "top asset" isn’t universal - it shifts by challenge type and by region, which is exactly why a one-size-fits-all strategy rarely holds up across a global trading community.
Top Traded Assets by Category
Here's how July's activity broke down by asset class, by trade count:
Category | Rank 1 | Rank 2 | Rank 3 |
CFDs | XAUUSD | EURUSD | USTEC |
Futures | MNQ | NQ | ES |
Stocks | TSLA | NVDA | AAPL |
By trade count, XAUUSD led the CFD field by a wide margin with 8,429,548 trades, followed by EURUSD (924,255) and USTEC (577,299).
In Futures, MNQ led with 3,425,210 trades, ahead of NQ (2,845,179) and ES (1,658,352).
In Stocks, TSLA topped activity with 15,515 trades, followed by NVDA (10,785) and AAPL (3,305).
The pattern lines up with May and June: gold and Nasdaq-linked contracts continue to dominate trader attention, even as activity spreads across FX pairs, indices, and US equities.
Top Assets by Net P&L
July's data also highlighted the top-performing assets by net P&L across each category:
Category | Rank 1 | Rank 2 | Rank 3 |
CFDs | ETHUSD | AUDJPY | JP225 |
Futures | GC | ZW | NKD |
Stocks | FSLY | USAR | TSCO |
What Comes Next
July showed a community staying active across markets and geographies.
But beyond the numbers, the real story is the process behind them: structure, preparation, and consistency.
We'll keep sharing data, stories, and lessons from the community every month.
More to come next month.
