Is prop trading different from traditional trading?

Traditional trading does not require traders to undergo any assessment phase because, in this case, traders take responsibility for their hard-earned capital, risks, performance, and everything related to their trading activity. In contrast, challenges exist for prop firms to assess your trading intelligence and evaluate your talent in handling specific amounts of their assets through your scaling plan while the firm is working hard to empower you in every possible aspect. Long story short, trading against the markets on your burden is the responsibility of retail traders, while trading with the markets is the responsibility of prop traders.
