FAQ CFD's Scaling Plan Why does Max Drawdown limit change to "Trailing" in the Scaling Plan?

Why does Max Drawdown limit change to "Trailing" in the Scaling Plan?

In your chosen Challenge or Scaling Plan the Max Drawdown limit can be "Static", "Trailing on Highest Equity" or "Trailing on Highest Balance". How your Max Drawdown works in the Challenge, is not always the way it will also work in the Scaling Plan.

Example:
In our CFD VIP Challenge the Max drawdown limit is Static, meaning it will never move throughout your trading. Although, the CFD VIP Earning Account in the Scaling Plan has a Max Drawdown limit trailing on highest equity, meaning every time your account reaches a new record high equity, the drawdown will trail with it. You can read more about this here.

The reason we change it in the Scaling Plan, is because that is where the company may decide to copy your signals, therefore it can come to a cost for us. In the CFD VIP Challenge we want to give you as much flexibility as possible, therefore we made is Static, but when it comes to the CFD VIP Earning Account in the Scaling Plan, we have to make sure we manage our company risk effectively, therefore it becomes trailing.
